Villodas and Graduate Research Assistant Nana Acquah at George Mason University’s Department of Social Work used secondary data to study the relationship between trauma exposure, perceptions of neighborhood crime, and substance use among women under community supervision (probation or parole).
November 14, 2024Nursing and Social Work students had the opportunity to work together in a virtual reality simulation of clinical work with patients. The event took place in the Center for Immersive Technologies and Simulation at George Mason University's College of Public Health.
